A NOTE ABOUT TV & INTERNET WEATHER REPORTING: Most TV channels and Internet weather sites incorrect list our weather as March Air Reserve Base weather, which is in Riverside, and is usually 20-30 degrees hotter in the summer, and completely off the rest of the year. We've had so much fun with the vacation home rental business that we've added two more vacation rentals, Cedarstone Escape and The Lake Escape (pet friendly). You can compare all three of our rentals on our Comparison Page.

 

• Privately owned home--we are not a property manager, this is OUR property, and we pride ourselves in its cleanliness and our attention to detail and our pampering to our guests. No garage sale or hand-me-down items in our homes!

Important notes:

We have 30 steps to the front door, and another flight inside to the main (top) floor. We also have steep driveway. Our other rental, Cedarstone Escape has level entry and level parking deck if this is an issue. The Lake Escape has 5 steps to the front door and has a Queen bedroom with bath.

Winter: We do get snow! You may be required to put on tire chains and tensioners--occasionally even on 4 wheel drive vehicles. 4 wheel vehicles usually just have to prove that they are carrying chains.

Inquire about non-holiday, mid-week discounts for homeschooling families, full-time pastors, and military. No signers under 25 years of age (inquire about exceptions for honeymooners). We pride ourselves on keeping the Treehouse as allergy-free as we possibly can for being in the mountains.
A refundable damage/security deposit required with each stay, required within 7 days of making your reservation. Your check/charge is cashed/charged when you reserve and refunded/credited after our home passes inspection upon your departure. Refunded by mail/credit within 14 days (see Payment Schedule below and agreement for details). If you're serious, do not wait to make your deposit! I often have several calls for the same date on the same day, and they all sound serious!	$ 250

San Bernardino County Bed Tax	7% of lodging rate for stays less than 30 days.
NO SMOKING, incense, or candles in our home due to high fire danger.	Loss of entire damage/security deposit for violation.
Grocery shopping. Send us your list and we can have your breakfast food in the fridge for you or an entirely stocked fridge & pantry from your list. (Subject to our schedule-ask.) Ask about specialty shopping--Anniversary/Honeymoon packages, etc.	$25 plus items
Additional maid service, subject to availability--ask. (We do not include daily maid service.)	$60
Deposit to be paid with Mastercard, Visa, or Discover. Balance by: Discover, Mastercard, Visa (our own merchant account since 1997) American Express (Feb 2007) Personal Check (no second party checks) U.S. Postal Money order Returned check charges apply if your check is returned.
$250 Refundable damage/security deposit to be paid within 4 days of booking by credit card. If your stay is within 60 days, we often just authorize this to your card prior to your arrival rather than charge & refund. Signed rental agreement returned by mail or fax within 4 days of booking. 1st payment (50% of total--in addition to damage/security deposit) due 60 days prior to rental period, or upon booking, whichever is earlier. 2nd payment (remaining 50%) due 30 days prior to rental period.
Check-in 3 p.m. Check-out 11:00 a.m. WINTER SPECIAL: Sunday check-outs usually available till 6 p.m. We try to avoid Sunday check-ins.
